From the North or South  Roucan Loch is easily located from the M74 at Lockerbie, take the A709 signposted Dumfries for 8 miles, once you are through the village of Torthorwald, drop down the hill for half a mile and take the first road on your left which is signposted Roucan Loch after 100 yds turn first right into the grounds.

From the West, either travel through Dumfries following signs for Lockerbie, or take the bypass until the Lockerbie Road roundabout.

Head east on the A709 until the foot of the hill below Torthorwald, turn right towards Collin and after 100 yards turn right again. Follow the road for approximately 400 yards until you come to the car park.

Opening Times

The crematorium grounds are open daily from 10am-4pm.
The Memorial Lodge is open Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm Although if you require access at weekends, please contact our office on (01387) 266749. (Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm).
